All goods supplied to EU countries will be charged in UK sterling (GBP) and include taxation (VAT) where applicable.
Goods shipped to Norway, Switzerland and the Channel Islands will be charged in UK sterling (GBP) excluding taxation (VAT), and the customer will be liable for any import or customs charges.
All prices shown online exclude carriage charges, these will be charged at the following rates:
Delivery time to all destinations will vary depending on where the delivery destination is, but for all our destinations we use a trackable service that requires a signature on delivery. In the event that your order has not arrived within a reasonable period of time please contact us. All orders will be shipped as one complete delivery and must be sent to the cardholders registered address.
For standard deliveries, we aim to process and dispatch your order no later than the working day following receipt of your order and for you to take receipt of your goods usually within 3-7 working days and in any case no more than 21 days, subject to payment method and stock availability.
Out Of Stock Items
Inclusion of any product on our website is not a guarantee of it being in stock at the time of ordering. The Outdoor Shop stocks one of the most comprehensive ranges of equipment in the country. However situations beyond our control may occasionally result in an item(s) being temporarily unavailable.
Items discontinued by manufacturers or that are no longer available that season we endeavour to remove from our website as quickly as possible.
You will be contacted by email or telephone concerning any item(s) we are unable to supply within 14 days. Out of stock items marked to follow will be sent automatically when they become available. We do NOT make additional charges for this service. In any case, we aim to deliver goods within a maximum time frame of no more than 21 days from receipt of order. If we are unable to do this, you will be contacted to make arrangements for any necessary refund to be issued.
Please note that our 24hr delivery service is not available for delivery to EU destinations.
Placing Your Order
We are now able to accept orders online to EU destinations (Not Norway, Switzerland or Channel Islands). To allow us to process your online order you must complete the Card Verification Page within the checkout stage. Orders received that do not pass this security check cannot be despatched and will be cancelled. For orders to the Channel Islands or Norway plaese contact the shop to get a quotation for the goods excluding VAT and shipping costs.
Mountaineering Club Discounts
The Outdoor Shop Ltd is happy to offer a discount to any customers who are current members of a nationally recognised mountaineering association or federation. To gain this discount first register on the website then supply a copy of your membership card to email@example.com. Once we have received this proof of membership we can update your registration details which will allow you to purchase goods at a discounted rate. Please do not place your order in advance of supplying membership details as we are not able to back date discounts.
If you are not completely satisfied with the goods received, return new and unused with any original tags attached within 60 days for a full refund of the purchase price excluding carriage charges. No refund can be given if goods are returned more than 60 days after the invoice date. We regret that we cannot give refunds for any carriage charges incurred on returning items to us.
If you wish to return items, please use the returns slip enclosed with the goods, and supply full contact details. Please note that you are responsible for items sent back to us until they are received by ourselves. We recommend returning items using an insured method such as recorded delivery that will need to be signed for by us on delivery.
