What is The Outdoor Shop Ltd's returns policy?
The Outdoor Shop Ltd offers a generous goodwill returns policy which is in addition to your legal rights. When you return unwanted items, please provide either the returns paperwork or proof of purchase.
In line with current health and safety guidelines, we reserve the right to refuse any items that are (for whatever reason) returned to us in a non clean and hygienic condition. Should items be returned dirty or in a non-dry state they will be returned direct to you at your expense with no action taken. This policy is to avoid our staff and manufacturers having to handle goods that are not clean and hygienic.
Goods can be returned for a full refund (including delivery and standard return postal charges of up to £7.50) if the item, after later inspection by us, is proven to have been faulty or has been supplied incorrectly within 14 days of delivery. If your return postage will cost more than £7.50 to send back to us, please call our Mail Order Department on 01908 562141, as we may be able to arrange collection.
Christmas Returns - With Christmas shopping in full swing we have extended our returns policy over the festive period to allow for present buying. Any goods purchased from 16th November to 24th December can be returned with recipts for exchange within 14 days of Christmas Day. You will be refunded ONLY for the cost of the goods. Delivery charges and return postage charges are non - refundable.
If you would like to exchange for an alternative size we will supply replacements, subject to stock availability. An additional charge of £4.99 will be made to cover handling, and return carriage costs should the exchange be less than £150.00.
If the goods prove unsuitable / unwanted due to an incorrect technical description either on our website or in any of our catalogues they can be returned for a full refund (including delivery charge and standard return postal charges of up to £ 7.50) within 14 days of delivery.
All items returned must be unused and with their original labelling and packaging intact. A completed returns note and copy of your receipts must also be enclosed.
Please do not send original receipts as we cannot guarantee to return them.
* Items which CANNOT be returned - unless supplied faulty or incorrectly by ourselves include;
ALL CE certified hardware such as harnesses, climbing hardware, ice axes and crampons as well as goods made to your personal requirements and sealed video or computer software that has been opened.
